Recently, the GAO (U.S. Government & Accountability Office) issued a report about the U.S. Postal Service. Included in the report is a call for the U.S. Congress to address the issue of the U.S. Postal Service's financial viability.

12 April,1937: The U.S. Supreme Court unanimously upholds the National Labor Relations Act, which guarantees the right of employees to organize and to bargain collectively with their employers. In NLRB v. Jones and Laughlin Steel Corp., the court finds that Congress has the power under the commerce clause to further good relations between industry and labor.

Recycle Your Old Cell Phone

Do you have old cell phones hanging around? Instead of throwing them away, recycle them. The EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) has guidance on where to turn in old cell phones. You can also donate those unnecessary cell phones to organizations such as Cell Phones for Soldiers, HopeLine, or AmericanCellPhoneDrive.org.

The EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) has made its HERO (Health and Environmental Research Online) database publicly available. Included in the database are studies and articles about various pollutants, health issues, and other topics related to the welfare of people and their surroundings.
