12 April,1633: the inquisition of Galileo Galilei began for holding the belief that the Earth revolves around the Sun

: The U.S. Supreme Court unanimously upholds the National Labor Relations Act, which guarantees the right of employees to organize and to bargain collectively with their employers. In NLRB v. Jones and Laughlin Steel Corp., the court finds that Congress has the power under the commerce clause to further good relations between industry and labor.
